In 2012 I attended a live-in artist residency in Cape Town, South Africa with A WORD OF ART. I produced a series of poster cards, framed woven pieces, dreamcatchers, cotton knitwear pieces, and a textile chandelier installation. The month-long residency included free community artist talks where we shared the progress of our work, and concluded with a group art exhibition titled “it’s not over.”
