In 2012 I attended a month-long residency in Frutillar, Chile for Patagonia Virgin in advance of their development of a golf course and residential community on Llanquihue Lake. I met with a variety of local artisans and makers throughout my stay and created a collection using materials found in the local region around Frutillar to showcase the beauty of the region. I conducted a knitting workshop with the help of a translator. The month ended with an exhibition event at the Patagonia Virgin cafe. Read an account of these travels at SIX Magazine.
